This is a supermarket sign in the the middle of aisle 4 in Albertsons. It is hanging from the ceiling and it is for the customers to see what is in the aisle. The material seems lightweight and thin. the colors blackened white are very easy to read. The font is very clean.

This is a screenshot of the Yogurt-land app for the iPhone. This application is intended for the customers of this frozen yogurt chain. The images and descriptions were created for customers to see the variety of flavors for the frozen yogurt. It is intended to be used in cellphones and this app is particularly for the iPhone. The names for the flavors were chosen to represent the characters of the movie Kung Fu Panda. I think the design is simple and pretty easy to use.

This is a sign posted inside of the Service Center waiting room of the Longo Toyota. It is placed on top of an electrical outlet on the wall next to a chair where customers wait for their cars to be serviced. The sign indicates that there is an electrical outlet available to plug in any electric device one might use during their wait in the center. The design is fairly simple and easy to understand with the picture of an outlet and a plug in being inserted in to it. Then there is a large red arrow pointing down letting us know about the location of the accessible outlet. The simple design language makes this a good way to let customers know that their is an outlet available for use.
This is a flag located at the top a light post inside of the Longo Toyota parking lot in the city of El Monte. It waves on and about when the wind is hitting it displaying the name of the dealership. The flag is clearly visible for those who exit the 10 west of ramp on Peck Road. The white color of the background is easy to spot and the red font is easy to read. The black and white checkered layer adds and interesting design that will help you associate the name Longo with cars. I think this is a simple and great design.

This is a temporary sign projected on a screen in the AT&T theater in downtown Los Angeles. It is displaying the title for the Team Crispy Live! event. The sign is for those who attended the event last Saturday and sat inside the auditorium waiting for the show to begin. The sign is immediately recognizable for those who know who team crispy is and what it stands for. The light blue color is nice and bright easy to be seen as well as the red. The font for Live!, seems to look like from a sign that can be found outside of a theater. Overall the sign seems to be pretty effective.
This is a sign posted inside of the Disney's California Adventure Park. It is placed right outside of the Lunar Year Celebration attraction. The sign's intended audience is mainly for the park-goers, so they can see what this section of the park holds. The red lanterns were used because it is traditional in China for the New Year. The gold color accents the red color of the lanterns and the Mickey Mouse head shape is telling us that this is how Disney celebrates the New Year. I think the sign is really effective. It works and lets everyone know that 2016 is the year of the monkey.
